Utilizing three to four roughnecks to make up a single joint of tubular leaves personnel in harm’s way and operator liability high. The ERIS compensating single joint is an elevator system that simplifies rig up and reduces personnel exposure on the floor.

 

The elevator roller insert system - features

  • Allows the removal of knuckle joints, swivels, compensators and associated cables from the rig up.

  • Connects directly below rig elevator using standard or articulated bails.

  • Reduces running time by 30% or more based on current means of operating and derrick configurations.

  • Removes as many as four hands from harm’s way, thus reducing operator liability.

  • Elevator is not required to rotate.

  • Can be integrated with and run using existing tubing running service provider.
