Marine Riser Reversing Tool

Effective debris management in risers has been and continues to be an issue in deepwater environments leading to repeat runs and chemical waste. The MRRT is a simple circulating manipulation tool designed to clean marine riser systems with minimal applied pressures and rates.

The MRRT permits forward circulation of the marine riser by placing its workstring deployed packer arrangement just below the rotary or reverse circulation of the riser by placing the same packer arrangement at depth. In either case, the riser debris is transported to surface via the workstring internal diameter or choke and kill lines.
